Jazz songstress Amy Winehouse travelled to Pete Doherty’s rehab clinic to prepare for their latest track.
The Rehab hitmaker, 24, has teamed up with the Babyshambles to record a “ska-type” single close to Doherty’s clinic in Wiltshire.
Winehouse will play the guitar for the collaboration - and her efforts have impressed Babyshambles’ guitarist Mik Whitnall.
“She plays better than James Brown playing acoustic guitar,” he says. “She thinks she’s s**t but she’s not. I’ve never met a girl who plays like that, let alone a man.”
Doherty has spent weeks at the Wiltshire retreat to battle drug addiction.
