A range of jeans and other clothing bearing a moniker from jazz songstress Amy Winehouse could be in clothing stores in 2008 and the star is looking to take a “full hands on approach” to the fashion range.
According to a source close to the boozy star, she has had a number of approaches from fashion retailers keen to get her to endorse a range of clothing.
“Nothing has been signed yet, it is still the early stages of negotiation, but Amy is interested in having a range of clothing that her fans can buy,” said the source. “Amy wants to take a full hands on approach. She is keen to be involved in the whole process from designing them to seeing the clothes being manufactured and then photographed for promotion.”
