According to an industry insider, Sir Elton is smitten with the recently wed north Londoner and wants to work with her.

Earlier this month, Winehouse apologised to the Rocket Man hitmaker for cancelling a gig which he was going to see her perform in London.

“Elton is a big fan and is keen to spend some time with Amy,” said the insider. “But it’s down to schedules and seeing when they can work together.”

If the two successful artists can make time for each other, it will be Sir Elton’s latest collaboration since his I Don’t Feel Like Dancing hit single with the Scissor Sisters.
