Choreographer Arlene Phillips is looking to find the best dancers in Britain for a new BBC1 TV show to be shown in the summer.
The founder of the raunchy 1970s and 1980s dance troupe Hot Gossip will be fronting the Dance X show will fellow Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli.
Open auditions in London, Bristol, Glasgow and Manchester will be taking place this month.
Hot Gossip were best known for their saucy dance routines performed on the Kenny Everett Television Show and released one hit single, I Lost My Heart To A Starship Trooper which first put musical star Sarah Brightman in the public spotlight.
Phillips hopes the new show and the emerging troupe will prove just as successful.
“We’re looking for the coolest dancers and singers who have the drive and ambition to make it big and be part of the most exciting new group of the 21st century,” Phillips says.
