How many modern board games can you name that are in Yiddish? Probably none, but ever popular mind game Apples To Apples has been translated into Yiddish for those who want to play in old school Jew talk.
Creators Out of the Box have taken their Junior set and modified it for Yiddish folk.
As with the regular game, it's all about trying to match what the judge is describing and if you have the card, then lucky you.
According to Out of the Box: "Most of the red cards have been modified, or substituted with other cards, to better reflect the culture of most Yiddish speaking people."
So expect to see references to chicken soup, corn beef, latkes as well as plenty of Jewish guilt. Or maybe not!
