The former manager of Charlotte Church is one name being linked to a vacant judging position on music talent show X-Factor.
Since it was announced last week that Boyzone and Westlife manager Louis Walsh would not be joining fellow judges Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne for the hit TV show’s new series, Jonathan Shalit has been suggested as a replacement for Walsh.
Shalit, who has also managed Jamelia and Big Brovaz has a high profile image for himself, something X-Factor bosses would want to capitalise on.
"Jonathan knows talent when he sees it and doesn’t mess about with telling it like it is. He’s tough, but also has a soft side too," said a source. "He’s the perfect judge for X-Factor."
