Yarden shawarma

If you want to sample one of Israel's most popular dishes, shawarma, you don't need to go to an Israeli restaurant, you can make it at home courtesy of Yarden.

For around 6.50, Yarden offers frozen turkey shawarma which is enough to serve 3-4 people very well.

Cooking it is real simple.  If you have a wok, this is probably the best way to do so. Place a little oil in the wok, let the wok heat up and then add the shawarma.  Give it a bit of a stir and wait around 10 minutes to make sure it is all fully heated.

Then all you need do is place a portion of shawarma onto a plate, add some hummus and eat it with pitta bread and you've got an inexpensive meal that tastes great.
