Thanks to Matisyahu successfully breaking out from the Jewish musical ghetto and moving into the mainstream, there's never been a better time to be frum and to rock (or rap, or play reggae or just do anything with music).
And now coming from Brooklyn are rap duo Ta-Shma.
Consisting of Chunah Silverman and Menachem Shapiro, they are set to emerge as a major force this year as like Matisyahu, they break out from their own community and move into the mainstream.
Like Matisyahu, their lyrics are Torah inspired and sung in an accessible way.
Their debut album Come Listen features 13 great tracks. There's also a couple of guests appearing including Mr Matisyahu himself as well as the ever mighty Y-Love.
