From the company that gave the Jewish world the Kosher Lamp, now comes the KosherClock.
Aimed at the shomer shabbat community, the clock looks like a regular alarm but has been given a Jewish makeover to make it suitable for use on shabbos.
Featuring five alarms that can be pre-set for Shabbos, there's no need to press any buttons when Saturday comes. The alarm will go off and then switch off automatically after a minute.
During the week, you can make use of the advanced features which include the ability to change the ringing alarm sound to that of a personal voice message. Of course on shabbos, the makers advise for that facility not to be used.
The sellers, Kosher Image say: "Imagine waking up to the sweet voice of grandchild saying,“Wake up Zaydie, time for minyan!” or a daughter saying, “Wake up Ima, Good Morning, time for school!” or your son saying, “Don't forget to count the Omer, Abba!”
Yes, imagine that!
Other features of the KosherClock include space to add a favourite photograph of a loved one and if you are worried that on shabbos you may accidentally touch the alarm, don't worry. Kosher Image says: "KosherClock has a special hard flip cover as a heker."
And how much does it cost? For orders delivered within the USA, it's $19.95 and for other countries $29.95.
