The annual Jewish Music Awards, part of Oy!Hoo took place earlier this month on September 11 in New York at the Museum of Jewish Heritage.
The evening hosted by comic Jackie Hoffman also included performances from Y-Love, Soulfarm, Rachel Sage and Benny Bwoy.
As with previous years, the categories included Best Klezmer Band, Best Singer and Best DJ.
Scooping Best Klezmer was The Klezmatics, Pharaoh's Daughter came first for Best Middle Eastern, Bob Dylan won Best Singer/Songwriter, DJ Hadler was voted Best DJ, the Hip Hop award went to Y-Love, Golem won for Best Rock, John Zorn was top choice for Best Blend of Jazz and Heritage, Idan Raichel and SoCalled shared Best New Approach, Pharaoh's Daughter also scooped Best World Music and Best Cross Over went to Matisyahu.
