Washington DC is not just the capital of the United States, but it also happens to host a number of annual Jewish events that showcase the best in Jewish talent.
Coming up next month from September 10 to September 20 is the annual Jewish Literary Festival. Among those signed up to appear and talk about their work include Madeleine Albright, Nora Ephron and Harry Shearer.
Nora Ephron famed for writing When Harry Meet Sally, will be taking part in a pre-festival event talking about her memoir.
Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State will share her thoughts on religion and politics on September 16.
Harry Shearer, one of the many voices behind The Simpsons will be promoting his new book Not Enough Indians on September 20.
