Manischewitz Borscht

If you want a taste of the old country, it doesn't get any more traditional that a bowl or glass of borscht. Effectively what you are getting is beet juice and if you don't want to make it yourself, then Manischewitz has just the right borscht that your grandparents would be proud of.

Coming in a 33 oz glass jar (just under one litre), this  borscht offers enough for 4 large glasses to drink or around 6 soup bowls.

Borscht is a very versatile food. You can drink it straight, or in a soup bowl with some sour cream on top go for that traditional Jewish style.

Manischewitz offers its borscht with pieces of beet still in it giving it a fuller flavour and great taste.

However, you drink it or serve, borscht is something worth trying and if you say you don't like it but have never tried, give it a go, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Manischewitz Borscht costs around 2 a bottle and is sold at all good kosher food suppliers.
