Matzah Man

If you can't get enough of Passover and want it with you throughout the whole year, then the dancing Matzah Man should satisfy your cracker cravings.

This doll, moves and grooves to a beat provided by Craig Taubman.

Priced around $15 via a number of online retailers, Matzah Man may be very macho with his beard and looks, but when it comes to the singing, it was 94-year-old Pauline S. Lampkin who is the voice that is heard. Sadly, Pauline passed away in 2005, but her spirit continues through Matzah Man.

The lyrics delivered are "He's my MatzahMan, Oh, yeah, my MatzahMan, He can cook it in the oven He can fry it in the pan, Stir it up, Shout it loud, Stir it up, Sing it proud, For the Matzah, Yeah, my Matzah My, my MatzahMan, Oh! I love you, MatzahMan!"

During her life, she became known as the Matzo Doll and dressed wearing a Matzah beret and apron at kosher trade fairs at stalls run by her children who are involved in manufacturing special ware for the kitchen as well as producing other kitsch merchandise.
