Kosher butcher Kelman's has expanded its range of non-meat products with the introduction of fish balls.
You can pick them up through supermarket chain Asda as well as other select retailers for around £3 a packet.
First impressions count when tasting fish balls. They should be easy to eat and Kelman’s seem a bit too "heavy". While it may be full of fish, it does seem to be rather hard to eat.
When it comes to the fish content, the exact nature of the fish was not fully revealed on the packaging, which should have been there.
There's nothing actually wrong or bad about these fishballs, they just seem to be too mass produced and not either as good or better on what is already out there in the market.
Packaging wise, they seem to be filled to busting point in the packet which can result in some of the fishballs not being perfect when taken out, so better packaging is essential if Kelman's wants to be taken seriously for its fishballs as its other products.
