A night of Jewish culture including music and art for free in London's East End? Well that seems to be the promise of PunkPurim, an event organised by Jewish satire site Jewdas and New York-based Heeb Magazine at rampART.
Two bands - Ghettoplotz and Emunah will be performing and offer between them a mix of trip hop, break beats with a hint of Klezmer and other Middle Eastern sounds.
As well as the sounds, also on offer will be some freestyle poetry from "Angry Sam" and "Adam Cohen".
Other than that you've also got VJ Miki Grahame providing various visuals.
With London now finally showing it can be a creative centre for Jewish culture, there's really no excuse for not going especially as it's free. And how many Jewish events can you name, other than going to shul on shabbos that are free?
What do you want? Them to pay you? Get off your tuchas and join in the Jewish cultural revival that is sweeping across London - or at least for one night in the East End.
Everything kicks off at 9pm on Saturday 18 March.
