Kinky Friedman action figure
Kinky Friedman action figure

He's one of the most famous Jew boys in music and now, Kinky Friedman wants to run as an independent candidate for Governor of the State of Texas.

The 61-year-old known for his country and western tunes, as well as other songs and books was actually born in Chicago but moved as a young child to Texas with his parents.

In the early 70s, Kinky formed his band The Texas Jewboys and recorded such delights as They Ain't Makin' Jews Like Jesus Anymore.

In the 1980s, he started writing books based around a detective mystery noir and to date has had over a dozen novels published.

But now in the 21st century he's looking to take control of Texas and pursue his agenda of reform for the State.

And to support his campaign, Kinky and his team has launched a 13" Kinky action figure that supporters can buy. Two versions are offered, one for $29.95 and one that is signed for $100. Both feature Kinky in his trademark cowboy look and the Kinky action figure also offers 25 different sayings.
