Helping hands

Want to help change the world and make it a bit of a better place? Well, becoming a volunteer and spending time with people who can make use of your skills and abilities is one way of doing it.

And with plenty of people needing help, both Jewish and not, then you can start off by paying an online visit to the Jewish Coalition for Service.

The US-based organisation helps to get people involved with doing some volunteer work, not just in the States but across the world.

Founded in 2001, the organisation has grown into a leading group that works across all sections of the community with a goal of helping all.

The site is easy to find what you are looking for.  From opportunities in North America, Israel and International and for all ages including High School, College and Post-College & Beyond.

The variety of projects on offer to help with is also very diverse from ecological through to education as well as manual labour and administration, whatever your skill of background, the Jewish Coalition for Service has an opportunity to apply your skills to help someone.
