Costa Magica

Kosher cruises are becoming ever so popular and not just in and around the United States. A cruise in the summer offers an opportunity to sample five Baltic capitals as you cruise for seven nights seeing Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Russia and Estonia.

Eddie's Travel  is offering the voyage on the Costa Magica either from July 2 to July 9 2006 or August 13 to August 20.

Prices start from $2,385 and go up to $4,995 for a grand suite.

As with all cruises, almost everything you can think of is included from food and drink to entertainment. Additional costs include: travel to departure port, port charges ($160), gratuities and any other personal expenses.

Those travelling will share the ship with other guests and so a special kosher kitchen is offered along with special dining area to make the whole journey is glatt kosher.

A resident rabbi, Rabbi Shmuel Weiss will be on hand to lead all services. Rabbi Weiss has been involved with kosher cruising for over a decade and is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America.

So if you are looking for something a bit different from the usual kosher cruises, this seven night journey is worth looking into.
