If you have always wanted to do the Bournemouth thing and stay in a Jewish hotel, you've only got a matter of weeks to do it at the New Ambassador Hotel in Bournemouth before it closes down as a kosher hotel.
With the loss of the New Ambassador, only two kosher hotels remain.
For years, the New Ambassador has been a regular destination for many Jewish people who want to get some sea and sand but keep kosher at the same time.
Despite its image of being a haunt for senior citizens, the New Ambassador also appealed to families as well as those who from time to time like to experience a bit of Jewish kitsch.
Having been owned by the Vickers family for over 30 years, the hotel has been sold to Britannia Hotels.
The New Ambassador was always known for its value for money. One of its last offers is five nights from 23 December or 29 December from £370 depending on size of room. The rate includes full board which many guests comment on the portions being enough for two people.
And for those who travel as a single, the extra charge is only £5 a day.
Not only do guests get breakfast, lunch and dinner, they are also served afternoon tea.
So with a final kosher day of January 16, now's the time to do it.
